3 Reasons Custom Cabinets are the Best Option for Your Remodel

Remodeling your home isn’t for the faint of heart, especially when it comes to your budget. Breathing new life into your existing space often requires a pretty hefty investment, and it’s safe to say that you want to make the most of it. One of the best ways to do that is to invest in custom cabinets.

Why Add Custom Cabinetry To Your Remodeling Plan?

Custom cabinets are indeed more expensive than their pre-made counterpart. That said, the difference in cost is negligible — especially when you factor in the benefits custom cabinets offer.

Custom Cabinets are Built to Last

Custom cabinetry features professional craftsmanship that’s built to last. You can rest assured the job was done right, so you can enjoy your new cabinets for years to come.

Custom Cabinets are Designed to Fit

Unless you plan to knock down walls and create a new kitchen layout, you have to work with the space you have. In many older homes, that space can be a little awkward with tight nooks and crannies. When using pre-made cabinets, you’ll likely have to fill areas with spacers to make them fit. Custom cabinets can be designed according to the room’s exact specifications, so there’s no wasted space.

Custom Cabinets Offer Unlimited Design Options

There are countless options to help you create your dream cabinetry, from the interior and exterior finishes right down to the hardware. Choosing custom cabinets over pre-made options also allows you to incorporate creative storage solutions to keep your space organized. When it’s all said and done, your custom cabinets reflect your style and unique needs.

How We Design and Build Your Custom Cabinets

Our goal is to design custom cabinets that reflect your home’s personality and your family’s unique needs. We’ve developed a step-by-step process to help us do just that. So, what does that entail? Check out the steps below!

Step #1 – Phone Consultation

We’ll schedule a quick 10-20 minute phone call to discuss your project and needs. If we are a good fit for your project, we’ll have you email us a basic drawing of your cabinet needs and photos of your existing space.

Step #2 – In-House Consultation

Once we’ve established your budget, we’ll set up an appointment for an in-house consultation with one of our experts. At that time, we’ll take measurements of the space and verify your budget and timeline. We will also go over and sign the project production contract and collect a down payment.

Step #3 – Design Finalization

Next up is the design phase! We will schedule a meeting with you and our in-house designer to design your custom cabinets. The designer will create a drawing of your cabinets and meet with you to approve the design.

Step #4 – Construction and Installation

Once the design is finalized, we’ll put your cabinets into production. When they’re ready, we’ll schedule a time to install them.
The process of designing custom cabinets isn’t as daunting as it may seem. Our team will be there every step of the way, from the initial phone call to the final install, to ensure you’re happy with your new cabinets.
